Well, It was indeed a "GOLDEN" week!
The end of April through around May 5th is called "Golden Week" in Japan since there are many national holidays ( April 29 / Showa Day, May 3 / Constitution Day, May 4 / Greenery Day, May 5 / Children's Day) during this period. This week is one of the longest holidays of the year.
