Sunny Weekend.

今日も良く晴れて、気持ちの良い日曜日に。
皆さん素敵な週末（そして母の日）を過ごされましたかな？

ここのところ続いていた変な天気も一休み。
ようやく一日太陽が出たので、久しぶりのガーデニングなぞを。（ベランダだけど）

そして、ホウレン草のトルテリー二を入れたトマトスープをくつくつ煮込んで夕飯に。

特にこれといったイベントは無かったけれど、今はむしろそれが貴重。
ゆっくりと静かな、良い土曜日だった。

We've been having a weird weather for the past couple of weeks, but finally got some sunshine, so I did some gardening today. ( as I have said before, we only have a tiny balcony, but I still call it a "garden".)

Then, I made "Spinach tortellini tomato soup" for dinner.

There was no big event, but it was a lovely quiet Saturday.

Broccoli Soup

鍋にバター少々を溶かし、乱切りしたポテト、タマネギ、ブロッコリーを
セージの葉と一緒に炒める。
牛乳と湯を鍋に注ぎ、煮立ったら火を弱め、20分ほど具がやわらかくなるまで煮る。
ブレンダーに入れてピューレ状にしたら再び鍋に戻し、更に５分ほど煮る。
塩、胡椒、おろしたパルメザンチーズを加えて味を調えたら出来上がり。

召し上がれ。

Melt some butter in a medium-sized pot and saute diced potato, chopped onion and broccoli with
sage leaves. Pour in milk and hot water, bring to the boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes or until tender. In a blender, puree the soup, return to pot and simmer for an additional 5 minutes. Season with salt, pepper and grated parmesan cheese.

水曜日のライブからずっと、この曲が私の頭から離れず.......、

まあ、だからということでは無いだろうけれど、

今日の午後、東京に突然の雹の嵐。

空が暗くなり、雷が鳴り、雨が降りだし、風が吹き、雹が降り、そしてまた強風、

そして.......綺麗な夕焼け。

わずか１時間ばかりのショーのよう。

I just can't stop it.

Well, anyway....
I don't think it's because of that, but there was a hail storm this afternoon.

Black cloud → thunder　→　rain → wind →　hail →　wind → sunset.

It was a very exciting one-hour show.

Night in Yokohama.

一昨夜は、ヨコハマを横浜で飲む。

ヨコハマ、は、私が飲んだカクテルの名前で、横浜、は、私が生まれ育った市の名前。

今は都内に住んでいて、まあ、横浜も大して遠い場所ではないのだけれど、

気づけば、前回行ってからずいぶんと時間が経っていたのでした。

ライブのために久しぶりに行った横浜で、ライブ後、終電まで少し時間があったので、

友人とともに、お気に入りのJazz Bar 「491 house」へ。

ジャズ、カクテル、雨、そして横浜.......完璧な組み合わせ！

あぁ、横浜。　おもひでがいっぱい。

I had a Yokohama in Yokohama the night before last.

The first "Yokohama" is a name of the cocktail I had, and the second one is, of course, a name of the city I was born and bred.

I live in Tokyo now. Although Yokohama isn't that far from where I live, it's been quite long time since I visited there last time.

I went to Yokohama for the Jazz live show with my friends. After the show, we still had some time till our last train so we decided to go to the Jazz bar "491 house" which is one of our favorite bars.

Jazz, Cocktail, Rain and Yokohama...... such a perfect combination!

Mmmmmm Yokohama, so many memories......
