Walking around my favorite park after the snow

Walking around the park almost feels like walking around an art museum, especially after the snow.

But in this museum, you don't need any knowledge about art and you don't have to try to understand the intention of the artist.

Even admission is free.
I love it.

White Valentine's day

Because we had snow today, Valentine's day became "white day".

Making Miso

Rinse the soybeans and soak them overnight in water.

Cook the soybeans in a large pot until soft.

Mix sea salt and koji (malted rice).

Mash the cooked soybeans.

Mix the mashed soy beans and salted koji well.

Roll the miso mixture into balls.

Throw the miso balls into a jar.
(This is the most fun part of making miso, I think!)

Press the miso mixture firmly.

Sprinkle a thin layer of salt over the top.

See you again in June!
