Heat wave

猛暑日が続いた東京。都心部では37度を記録。
でも実は、梅を干そうと思っていた私にとっては恵みの太陽でした。
ただ、問題が一つ。

連日の突然の夕立！

梅が濡れては台無しと、ここ何日かはあまり遠出せず、近所で過ごしました。
まあ私にとっては、忙しいシーズンに突入する前の、調度良い休みだったのかもしれません。


A heat wave has continued here.

Temperatures in central Tokyo have topped 37 degrees Celsius. Actually, I appreciated that strong summer sun because I was thinking of beginning drying pickled plums under the sun.
But the problem was, sudden evening shower!

So, for the last few days, I spent most of my time in my neighborhood and kept my eyes on my plums, just in case of a sudden shower.

Well, I guess it was good for me to take a rest before my busy season starts again.
